Come Join Us

For over 30 years the Green Apple Folk Music Society has been home to folk music enthusiasts in northeast Wisconsin.  In that time our stages have been graced by local, regional and national folk artists as well as beginners. We like to share the music.

We also have an annual camp out, various jams and our friends participate in local folk festivals, farmer markets and most any place you would find live music. In short, we like to provide opportunities for people to listen to music and to play together.

Our ideas about folk music are very broad. We include acoustic styles such as bluegrass, blues, country, Celtic, folk, gospel, old-timey, and singer-songwriter. You won't find a more supportive group of music-makers. Some regulars are professional, others are beginners, and many of us don't play at all but just enjoy the music!

To get more involved, please consider joining the board of directors.  We meet on the first monday of the month to plan upcoming events.  We'd love to get your ideas.  The board is a small group of people, and an enthusiastic member has a lot of influence in the future directions of the organization.

See our Schedule page for current Green Apple events or our Links page for other opportunities to hear or perform folk music in the area.
